League of Women Voters of Broward County

Privacy notice

Updated October 7, 2026

This notice explains what the League of Women Voters of Broward County website measures, who receives that information, and the choices you have. It applies to this site only.

What we measure

We keep no accounts, ask for no personal details, and store no visitor records of our own. The site has no sign-in and no contact form.

Two outside services collect standard visit information when you browse:

  • Google Analytics records the pages you view, roughly how long you stay, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Meta (Facebook) ad tracking records the same kind of visit information so the League can measure and manage its advertising on Meta platforms.

Neither service is used to identify you personally, and the League does not receive your name, email address or phone number from either one.

Who receives it

Visit information goes to Google (through Google Analytics) and to Meta Platforms (through the Meta Pixel), under their own privacy policies and retention periods. The League does not sell visitor information or share it with anyone else.

Your choices

Meta ad tracking runs only after you accept. Declining does not hide or change any part of this site.

You can change your decision at any time with the button below. Your choice is saved in this browser only, so it applies on the device and browser where you made it.

You can also limit tracking through your browser settings, and Meta and Google each provide their own opt-out tools.

Visitors where consent rules apply

In regions with strict privacy rules, including the EU, the UK and Switzerland, ad tracking stays off until you choose to accept it. Google Analytics page measurement is not part of that choice and runs for all visitors.
